Citizen TV journalist Jacque Maribe has for the first time addressed the viral photo in which she was seen kissing State House Digital Director Dennis Itumbi.
The two were caught on camera in February 2015 sharing what looked like a romantic kiss. What followed was speculation that the two were dating.
However, according to the golden voiced news anchor, the kiss was just a joke that went too far.
Jacque opened up about it to Kiss FM’s Jeff Mote on Monday.
She also reiterated Dennis Itumbi’s sentiments that the two are just good friends and nothing more.
